Disney + passes 100 million subscribers after a year and a half
The Disney + streaming service has passed 100 million subscribers worldwide. The group announced this on Tuesday. Disney’s digital channel has been around for less than a year and a half.
The last time the service gave an update was at the beginning of January. Then Disney + still had 94 million subscribers. The service recently had hits with WandaVision and Raya and the Last Dragon. The new Marvel series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will be released soon.
Netflix is still at the forefront of streaming services; 200 million people worldwide are now members of the provider of hits such as House of Cards, Orange is the New Black, Casa de Papel and Lupine.
